GTX 660 Driver problem DPC Input lag insane mouse audio distortion

UPDATE 1 : Monitoring stats in GTA V i noticed something weird gpu is at 80-90% usage then it drops to 0-40% usage then i get Stuttering and small fps drop when the gpu drops in usage i get fps drop n stuttering

UPDATE 2: I installed an older driver to see if that works without any luck

The sound distortion its only on 1920x1080 videos tho 720p or less had no audio distortion just mouse lags

Today i contacted nvidia to report my problem having DPC latency input lag mouse and audio distortion in horrible levels

The tech wasnt able to solve my problem we did a GPU stability test which i passed it my gtx 660 hardware is okay

The driver in the other hand is producing me insane input lag

i can run gta V and other games in hd settings no fps drops at all just camera movement stutters weird the big problem is when im not gaming when pc is idle or watching a youtube video sound is horrible The sound distortion its only on 1920x1080 videos tho 720p or less had no audio distortion just mouse lags

Also every single mouse movement lags feels same as cpu 100% lags
Cpu never goes that high tho my cpu is Q9550 and on idle its almost stable 0% - 10% usage

Hello... I use older drivers on my GTX 760's... 337.88 No Problems and do multi track Audio, low latency use... give that a try?
What are you using for your Sound output the Video card (HDMI) or MB sound card?
1) You have to load the NVidia HD driver AND Video drivers with this type of card to use Digital audio out of it.
2) Do you have any Yellow or red marks in your device manger?

Typically the AMD cards/drivers are slightly better at AUDIO latency... but the worst offenders are WI-FI, USB, network cards/drivers.

Thanks for your quick respond what do you mean Np's and also where can i find such an old driver? looks like nvidia site its limited to more recent versions

I am using Mobo soundcard not nvidia i did not even installed the HD driver (i tried installing it no difference )

Hello... NP=No problem... Yes you can DL older versions from NVidia... hold i'll find it for you...
64 bit? http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverresults.aspx/75991/en-us

1) Please remove any previous Nvidia APP install ... Control panel-Program and features, AND delete any C:\ NVidia folders, reboot.
2) Use APP installer custom install and first install the Video driver and reboot.
3) Use APP installer custom install and Load the HD audio driver, reboot and Test please B )

Oh right well i tried latest gtx 660 driver did not work then i installed CD driver ( first ever released) did not work im going to try the driver you linked me now please wait for results looks liek you can help me im desperate Nvidia staff couldn't help me only basic tests

Hello... Remember there are TWO drivers you need installed video and HD audio... B )

Yes... I would not put the blame on the Video card here for MB sound card problems then. B /

If you are experiencing audio problem with the MB sound card then you need to give me the MB model/brand and I can maybe direct you to a Good/better driver to try.

UPDATE 2 : Thanks for all these info i installed the Graphics driver only no results i post an image in start of my thread im going to install hd audio now thanks be right back

Ok done installing hd audio driver for couple of seconds DPC lag was gone i almost jumped off the window out of my happiness but after couple mouse movement the huge DPC came back i must admit the sound quality its Perfect now no distortion unless i move my mouse if i move my mouse or other actions distortion comes back

Hello... 1) Try just the USB mouse and keyboard remove any EXTRA USB devices,
2) OR try in different USB MB PORTs for your mouse... this can change the order of performance for the device.
3) what MB brand model? time to try a NEW Audio driver.
4) The Adobe Flash player will need to be current too for streaming Audio/video play back. B )

5) If you have a Wi-Fi or blue tooth cards or chips on the MB... disable them in your MB Bio's (save&exit).
6) Try a different USB Mouse
7) try a different Keyboard.
8) Enable "legacy/both" USB devices in your MB BIO's (save&exit).

I already tried these no differecne only thing fixed my DPC lag is uninstalling my gtx driver
GTX 660 without driver has no DPC lag
GTX 660 with driver insane DPC lag
Geforce 9500GT Gigabyte Oc version works perfect no lags
Geforce 9500GT Nvidia version works perfect no lags

Hello... That is a dated MB model B / You need to boot to your Bio's screen and get youir BIO's version # and then go to this page to fill out Those details and look to see if you have a latest Ok? https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5KPL1600/HelpDesk_Download/

Your Sound chip driver needs to be checked too... Ok?
I'm am very experienced with Realtek in my S775 MB's p35 and g45 models and they worked fine with a GTX 460... but the VIA's i'm not experienced with and 600 series video cards.

What do you recommend me to do uninstall audio and install realtek HD codecs? also would that matter since 9500gt has no problems and this occurs only to gtx?

did you get this used?
1) Does the Video card Bios/firmware match the sticker on the back of the video card? GPU-Z screen shot?https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2627/techpowerup-gpu-z-v0-8-7/
2) one last TEST (?) try it in a another desktop?... does it do the same thing?
3) re-flash the GPU BIO's time? https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/index.php?architecture=NVIDIA&manufacturer=&model=GTX+660&interface=&memType=&memSize=

Thanks for all the info im going to test it in another desktop tomorow on friends home, i wanna try reflash bios of gpu but which bios should i use?
