I just purchased an SSD and installed Windows 7 on it. I formatted and set my HDD as D: drive. I want to install some programs onto my SSD's C: and some on my HDD's D:. I am not sure how to install programs on my HDD with a Program Files folder but I am not sure how to create one.

Solution

You can install individual programs on whatever drive and folder you choose. It does not have to be "Program Files"
See this:
Win 7 & 8: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1834397/ssd-redirecting-static-files.html
Win 8.1 & 10: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html
