R9 380 4GB Crossfire vs GTX 970 SLI

As the title says I want to know which one is better if you take in an account the price difference. Two R9 380's are 570$ and two GTX 970's are 920$.

2 970s in sli for 1080 p is overkill unless you're going to 1440 p i'm my experience I had a r9 390 x but had a lot of driver issues and outweighs the aggravation , so I went to 2 970s in sli for 4 k gaming it's not enough vram for maxing it all out but i'm happy just having them on med to high settings and not having not responding and recovered issues like with amd
