Dear gentlemen (and ladies if any) please help,

I have 2x R9 280x & wondering if it's better to spend money on a 3rd one or buy a completely new single GPU? PC usage is for gaming (when spare time allows ... after 3 jobs)
Monitor I use is 4K (http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-34UM95-34-Inch-LED-Lit/dp/B00JR6GCZA).
And if a triple X-fire is better which Mobo would you recomend?
PS: I don't know how to overcloack

Thank you very much in advance for all your assistance.

Sell your current cards and get two 390X or Fury X or 980ti or wait for Polaris and Pascal. Those are your best chance for a decent 4K experience. Overclocking is fairly easy, try something like MSI Afterburner or similar software. Also if you use google you can find a boat load of info on how to do it, there are also tons of youtube videos showing how to do it as well. Here is a list of some gpu overclocking software http://wccftech.com/article/gpu-overclocking-utilities/
Id personally go for a single more powerful gpu-depending on your budget that could be anywhere from a 970/390 to a 980ti/fury x.

Multi-gpu setups at times can offer great performance but for the most part they are more trouble than what they are worth and I can't possibly imagine a 3rd 280x adding that much more performance to a system already running 2 280x cards.

If you were just going for a 2nd card id say go 280x but if you have to resort to 3 then its time to get one fast card.2 280x dont do to bad in 4k gaming and gingerbread the gtx 980 ti and fury x say different one of those is enough for 4k for the most part.
