AMD A8-5600k CPU Temp issue

I recently noticed that my CPU is getting high temperatur (speccy, HWmonitor, bios)
idle: 60-70c (speccy, HWmonitor)
loaded (e.g. playing dota 2): 90-100c (speccy, HWmonitor)
at BIOS i got 92c temp.

I'm using the stock hsf of AMD, maybe the thermal paste is dry? I really haven't check it yet.

And one thing I noticed, the temp issue started when i changed my PSU to a branded one.
The branded PSU obviously has big fan (120mm) facing bottom (as for my setup
because my case supports top mounted PSU) which is directly above the CPU HSF,
so i might be thinking that the psu is getting the air the should be going to the HSF.
is it a possibility?

btw, here are the solution i came up with
buying a new HSF, maybe the CM hyper 212x
and buying a new case that supports bottom mounted psu.

But if my suspicions were right? maybe i'll just buy the case and a thermal paste/compound.
I just need an opinion of a computer expert/technician.

thanks guys. sorry for the long post.

i thought that about too, the setup should be normal.
I just thought that the cpu hsf is not getting the proper air it needed.

the fan is spinning, in bios it is indicated that it is spinning around 3200rpm.
the cooler is properly mounted too. Maybe it is down to the thermal paste?

one last question, I'm planning to buy a new cpu cooler
the CoolerMaster Hyper 212x.

is the included thermal paste will be enough?

Your problem is most likely related to thermal compound and a not so good CPU cooler. The hyper212x is a very decent budget cooler just make sure it will fit your case if you decide to keep the case you already have. I don't see the problem in having a top mounted PSU. The only down side is that whatever fresh/cool air you have inside the case, the top mounted PSUs will act like an extraction fan and suck cool air from inside the case and blowing it outside which can increase temperatures by a lot if you do not have good airflow throughout the case.

Are there any other possible cause of CPU temp getting high? (beside thermal compound and CPU cooler)
is it possible that the cpu itself is the problem?
tomorrow im planning of buying the cooler and a new casing,
i just want to make sure (hope) that this will solve the problem.

An improper installation of the cooler may result in high temps as well.....
