Just got all the parts in, built it yesterday with a friend who's done it multiple times before. The fans wont turn on, nothing will boot up. All of the parts are wired in correctly, we checked the wires multiple times :(. The only thing that turns on is the power button LED.
intel i3-6100 processor
gigabyte micro atx motherboard
g.skill nt series 8gb (2x4gb) memory
radeon r9 380 4gb video card
corsair 500w power supply
not sure what the hard drives are

Solution
Have you tried just connecting the basic components to see if it will boot and then just add components until you find the offending hardware?

Just start with motherboard and PSU and see how you get on? Most new boards will still boot into BIOS without CPU or RAM installed but you may need at least the CPU present in the board.

See how you get on.
