Hello, so my current PC specs are:

Intel i7 3770k CPU
MSI B75A G43 mobo
Hec 850 PSU
Geforce GTX 560 ti GPU

everything works fine on this current setup, but I wanted a boost on my GPU. I bought a Geforce GTX 960 SSC 4GB and installed it, however, I'm getting no display. I tried uninstalling the old video card drivers, powering down and installing new GPU, nothing... I hooked it up using DVI and HDMI, nothing. The fans do spin on the GPU but the monitor just goes into "Power Saving Mode." I've tried updating my BIOS but I'm having no luck successfully doing that... I load the update onto a USB thumb drive, load into the BIOS, and the M-flash update just tells me no BIOS update on the root of the drive.. Which isn't true. I've tried making the USB drive bootable but that didn't help either...

When my computer boots up it does give me 1 beep, which I believe means everything is good. I'm kind of at a loss. The only other things I can think of are installing both GPUs, hooking into the old one to boot into Windows and install drivers for the new one, possibly PSU causing the issues but it's getting power so idk if that's it, or a faulty card.

sorry didn't mean to vote your answer down! I don't have a 2nd computer to test it and I'm using the connectors from my previous graphics card.. I believe they say PCIE on the cord itself... They are 6 pins with 2 additional pins hanging off of them... I've tried the adapter that comes with the new GPU and I've tried using the 8 pins total.

Yeah I've tried taking it in and out numerous times, I've tried both connectors from the old GPU (both as 8 pins and the adapter that takes two 6 pins), that's it, I could try to look for other connectors but since the old GPU works I'm thinking they work OK.

I do have another PCIE slot I could try but I don't believe it's 3.0. I'm also thinking the same thing about it being OK since the old GPU works in it Would that still be worth trying?
