c7180 hp not recognizing light blue ink

My c7180 printer is stating I need to replace the light blue ink...I have changed it with 2 original hp twice! still is not recognizing that it has been changed. I have cleaned the contacts and have also done a shutdown that was recommended...... HELP!!!!

Any error code or informational "number"?

Was the shutdown just a power-off or full factory reset? Try the latter and see if that gets the printer fully functional. You will need to reset the printer so make note of your settings.

If a reset fails then it is probably best to contact HP. Or at least check their forums/FAQ's for more information.

Maybe a firmware update is necessary.
