how graphic cards power/heat works????

i have a gtx 980 ti and every AAA title game or benchmark iv done with it it never gets above 72c why when i play EVE online it hits 80c easily? does the AAA games not optimise the power in the GPU?

EVE is probably not using your GPU to its maximum, so the fans are staying at a low level. Unless you are in a large fleet engagement it is a pretty light game by today's standards.

You might try a custom fan profile to keep it a little cooler.
