Is A11 BIOS the same as A10, just with more? (Dell XPS 8700)

Hello! Extremely stupid question, I know. I've been wanting to upgrade my graphics card in my XPS 8700, and I've heard that I need BIOS A10 to do that. So I updated my BIOS to the latest version, A11, and I just want to make sure that I'll still be able to upgrade my card since A11 is the updated version of A10. Thanks! :)

Yes. A newer BIOS usually always has the same features as the previous as it is usually a build off the previous BIOS.

The question is what Card are you upgrading to that required BIOS A10?

Thanks for the quick response! I was thinking about getting an EVGA GTX 970, and I know it fits because I've seen videos of it in people's XPS 8700.
