I am currently picking parts for my first PC build, and I'm afraid to mess it up. According to some threads I read, most b85 motherboards require a bios update before using a Haswell Refresh processor. I just wanna double check if my processor (I5 - 4460) is compatible with my Mobo without having to update the bios.
If it still needs an update, can I use my processor to update it? Without using other processors? Thanks in advance
