What I wanna know _

I want to plug the Broadband Cable (aka Ethernet Cable) to the Switch port, then another Ethernet cable from Switch will go to the router.

Will this work?

TIA

Solution
If you are saying you want to plug the ISP cable into a switch and then another cable from the switch to the WAN port of a router, then that will work as long as you don't plug anything else into the switch. Your ISP usually only allows one device to get an IP address per wire. That needs to be the WAN port of the router. If you connect another device to the switch it would either not get an IP address OR the router may not get one.
