Right, so I tried to boot up my pc this morning cant even access the bios and all I get is the strange clicking noise, at first I thought it was my hard drive so I disconnected that but nothing changed. I've also disconnected my GPU but the same thing happens.

The only thing that I've done that helps is put my RAM in a different slot but all that does is stop the clicking but if I try to boot it up again it starts clicking again.

I'm just at a loss to what it could be.

Solution
Still clicking with hard drive power cable disconnected? (important you disconnect power cable, not data cable, otherwise the drive will still spin and the test will be invalid).
