Hi everyone, I'm having sudden restarts when playing games on high-res, I've read other posts that says that it could be a psu problem but I have a 750w psu so I think it should be enough.

Here is my machine specs:

  • Board: Gigabyte GA-277-D3H
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.9GHz
    RAM: 8Gb
    PSU: Zephyr 750w
    GPU: GeForce GTX 970

I want to be sure if maybe the PSU brand is not reliable and get advice if should i change it.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Solution
Check the other hardware first. Temperatures of graphics card and CPU
Run 3dmark basic edition (firestrike) and post the link which comes up at the end
Update the bios inside bios itself

Did you change something on your system lately?

The hec zephir 750w is not the best Psu, bit should run your system without problems. Is related with this one: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2081

I tried to follow your link but it throws an error :??:

Also im going to update the bios

UPDATE
It seems that the outdated bios was the problem, after update It stopped to restart in mid game, thanks for your help :)
