No sign of life in my PC after replacing PSU

Hello there,

So recently my CX600M PSU was making a lot of noise, so I send it back to corsair and got a new one back. In the time between me getting the PSU out and sending it back I've tried to fix my cable management (there are no loose cables from the PC itself except for the HD-Audio cable).

A few days later I got my CX600M back and was excited to install it and play my games again. I've installed the PSU and tried to hit the start button and... nothing happened. At first I thought it was something with the PSU but I did the paperclip test and it worked fine.

Then the thought of my PSU touching the back of my motherboard flew trough my head. This because in my case, the PSU lies under the mobo and the back of the mobo could be easily hit by the top of my PSU. Could this be the cause of my PC not starting?

TL;DR
I've got an RMA for a CX600M PSU, with re-installing it I might've hit the back of my motherboard with the top of the PSU. Very afraid of me brutally killing my motherboard

Solution
Hi, Try removing from motherboard the front panel wires connected to reset and power buttons. Start the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the case power button (check the manual for their location).
See if the board does run.

Could you give me a source of this? I dont think you are a liar, but I'm not going to 100% trust you on this one sorry. Im just afraid of shortcutting my mobo and needing to throw it away

EDIT: Didnt notice the motherboard master thing. I will try this, but can I use any kind of screwdriver for this, and what patrts do I absolutely not want to hit with it?
