Hey everyone,

I am starting a 1151 build for gaming and what-not and future-proofing etc. Maybe virtual reality at some point if it can handle it? But anyway, I was wondering if people would be willing to review this build and tell me how well they think it will work or if there's something wrong with my build, etc. Thanks in advance!

Here are the parts I am looking into:

Motherboard: MSI Gaming Z170A Gaming M5
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130873

Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117561

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H105 Liquid Cooler
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181060

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb (2x8gb) DDR4 3000
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233852
(Not entirely sure which RAM sticks I should go for currently. I know they have to be DDR4, and I want 16gb of it. Any better sticks maybe?)

Graphics Card: Sapphire Nitro Radeon R9 390
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202164
(Could potentially save up more and go for a 390x, thoughts on that? is the $100 extra worth it?)

PSU: EVGA GOLD 850w PSU (I already have this from a prior build)

HDD: Western Digital Black 1TB HDD x2 raided (I already have these from a prior build)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236625

Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139024

OS: Windows 10 Home

Another question: Do you think I should add a SSD into the build for the os?

Its also worth noting that I will be buying these parts separate, throughout the spring and early summer. So I don't have a distinctive budget, but I am not looking to buy the $450+ components, so please don't suggest those.

Looks fine to me, building this on PC part picker is easier than using just newegg (newegg is very well priced for a single store). You get better deals usually shopping around.

Get yourself an SSD and never look back. Your daily use of the PC will be much snappier and more pleasant. 120GB minimum, 240GB if you play a fair amount of video games.

See, I totally would because that seems like a major upgrade, but one of the biggest reasons I am getting that case is because I really like the minimalist sleek airbrushed aluminum front.
