Questions' history:
Good day everyone. Recently I've bought 2 HDD(1 tb each) WD-Caviar blue WD10EZEX and tried to set it up in raid. OS was already installed on my SSD with SATA mode set to AHCI. After switching SATA Mode from AHCI to RAID I've created RAID0 Volume from my 2 hard drives using Intel Rapid Storage Technology(Stripe size 128 kb). After that I've tried to boot my system from SSD, but it was showing "A disk read failure has occured. Please restart ... CTRL+ALT+DELETE". When I backed SATA Mode to AHCI - system booted fine. I've tried installing raid driver on my C: drive using Windows 7 CD recovery(the thing, when you install windows from CD and then loading driver with F6), but that didn't work. After some hours of attempts - I came with idea to install Windows 7(same as on SSD) on Raid 0, installing RAID drivers in process. Everything worked fine, system booted from RAID 0. Then I rebooted my PC and it booted from SSD too without any problem.
After that I formatted my raid0 drive(wiped second windows copy) and booted from SSD. Everything began to work well, but it shows me that SSD and Raid 0 are SCSI Disk Device in Device Manager.

Questions:
1. What could cause the problem of disk read error, when I was trying to boot from SSD?
2. Why when I switched from AHCI to RAID(and created volume from 2 HDDs) bios started to show RAID: SSD Smartbuy instead of AHCI: SSD Smartbuy(SSD is not being used in RAID) in boot device priority. Is it normal?
3. Is it normal that SSD and RAID 0 show up as SCSI Disk device in Device Manager?
4.My HDDs differ a little. First HDD is WD10EZEX-60ZF5A0 with firmware version 80.00A80 and UDMA 5 and second is WD10EZEX-00WN4A0 UDMA 6. Is it bad for RAID0? Will it affects it in any way?
5. Is TRIM function working on my SSD in that setup? Is there any way to check that it functions properly?
6. When I tried writing some big files(starting from 10 gb). Write speed starts from 400 mb\s, then it starts to gradually drop to ~132 mb\s. What can be a cause of it?

My system specs:
Motherboard: Asrock h87m pro4
CPU: Intel Xeon e3 1230-v3
SSD: Smartbuy 120gb ignition 2
OS:Win7 ultimate x64
HDD1:WD Caviar Blue WD10EZEX-60ZF5A0
HDD2:WD Caviar Blue WD10EZEX-00WN4A0
