If you're looking at ocing then that will be fine, just make sure you monitor the VRMs of your mobo because of lesser airflow. But, my original statement stands. For your price point with what you're looking at, an 8350 is less money, and comes with AMD turbo at 4.2GHz. With two more cores for computational power than your hexacore. I've seen people hit 5GHz + with a Noctua NH-D line air cooler on this cpu. With lesser air coolers, it's where you want it to be at 4.5-4.6. With the same price point. But, if you want LC, go for LC dude. That stuff will all work in your computer.

Well, I myself do not have a custom loop in my case (if that is what you're really looking for) but be prepared for that custom loop to be more... almost definitely FAR more than $150-180. If you're only going to be grabbing one for your CPU, just get a closed loop one. You can get fairly good closed loop coolers for about $100 that will fit a 240mm RAD slot. The other thing you have to think about though is your airflow. If your mobo doesn't support LC or if you go with a closed loop, you won't have as much airflow over your VRMs if you're looking to OC (which otherwise, I don't know why you're getting LC). You also won't have as much airflow over your GPUs. The other thing I would say: I don't know specifically which hexacore you have, be it PhII or FX, but there's an easy upgrade path to an 8320/e/8350/e/8370 instead of getting yourself LC. LC is good if you have the budget for it to keep temps down, but if you getting LC takes out budget from a new CPU, that isn't worth it. An 8350 costs what you're saying your budget is.

I got a asus saber tooth mother bored 990 fx I'm thinking of getting the corsair hydro 240m raid and im getting purple led corsair fans x 2 also getting some cathodes for lighting I'm trying to make a show case computer :) I'm just trying to get a quieter noise level my current heat sink runs at 2,000 rpm all the time in its loud

Do you want the case to be showy, or functional? Your airflow won't be horrid in your case if you take up two slots with that rad, but keep in mind (I assume you'll be using the two on top as those are mainly exhaust) that that means you have 2 intake and only one exhaust. You will not be pushing as much air out as you are in, at least in an efficient manner. In order to LC a sabertooth 990fx board it's a DIY solution, and I don't know about your graphics cards. If you're just looking for LC to make a pretty case without any functionality, I won't be able to help you. But with your budget, your LC is going to be tight as it is, and your airflow is going to go to s**t. Which is gonna suck for your GPUs and VRMs, if you OC.

Again, for functionality or for show? (looking at the RAM) RAM speeds don't affect anything unless you're doing something like graphics design. In gaming there is literally no difference in frames between 1100MHz to 2100MHz. FYI--in case you didn't look at the LC... it has black cables. You can't see through black. Why get the extra 2 fans when you already have 4? The case has slots for 5, and two of those are taken up already. Also, with those fans that you're looking at, keep in mind that they move less air than the ones pre existing in the case. You're already downgrading your airflow by putting the rad in, you're further downgrading it with this.
