I've been browsing all through this forum and can't seem to find an article to help me with my current problem. I got a new CPU, an AMD FX-8370. After installation, the computer doesn't seem to want to boot. All the lights turn on, fans start spinning, but my monitor says "no signal" and my keyboard doesn't light up like it does with the old CPU and the old boot process. I've a 970a-ud3p Gigabyte mobo. I was aware that my mobo would need a BIOS update, and did so to the latest version(even checked the official website to make sure it was compatible with the new cpu.) I'm out of ideas. Anyone have any helpful insight?

Have you tried a different monitor, VGA/DVI/HDMI cable, and GPU? Swap them one at the time.

Make sure both the 24pin and the 4/8pin power connectors are plugged in on the mobo and the PCI-e connector is plugged in the 960.

Did you get the post beep when you power the system?

Try to start it with one stick of ram at the time. Try each stick by itself in 2 different slots.

The GPU was just installed today as well, a GeForce GTX 960. Everything works fine with my new GPU and my old CPU. My PSU (if that's Power Supply Unit) is a Corsair CX750.
I tried going through and taking everything out, making sure it was all properly connected. My RAM sticks, two HyperX 8GB, both seem to be seated correctly as well.
I've tried quite a few different things now. I've taken everything out and reconnected it to make sure I hadn't missed any connections. I've removed each RAM stick one at a time to make sure it wasn't one of those that had gone bad(even though they were just replaced 2 weeks ago). I took the battery out the mobo for several minutes to let it reset. I've triple checked to make sure the BIOS update was installed correctly and that it's the newest version.

I'm at a loss here. I've no idea what could be wrong now.
