New comp and I recently purchased a 100i v2 liquid cooler for my comp. Installed it and it ran fine. I stupidly moved the power plug from the cpu_opt jack to cpu_fan while it was on and in bios and it immediately shut off. Wouldn't run again with the stock cpu cooler or POST after troubleshooting as much as I could. The pwr_led on mobo does blink green... Tried with a friend's old psu and the fans would run for a few seconds before turning off. Bought a new psu and the pwr_led just rapidly blinks green and still is unresponsive... I think my mobo may be broken. Please anyone help I really appreciate it!

Mobo= asus z97a

That can cause an arc and resulting short circuit. There are no fuses or circuit breakers on a motherboard or the power supply. You likely burned out some of the parts on the motherboard. Customer induced damage is not covered by warranty.
