How to add aftermarket fan on the north bridge?

Hi all,

I want to put a fan on ASRock N68C's north bridge. Is it possible and how it could be done? I'm thinking of getting a 40mm fan like this one or similar.

4 small dabs of epoxy adhesive on the corners of that fan and connect to CHA_FAN at the bottom of MB. That's how I do it.

You could do that as previous poster did. It really shouldn't be necessary and is not something commonly done. Your case should have adequate cooling. A side mounted 120mm Fan on the case is probably better.

Those chipsets do get hot even without OC.
