So I recently purchased some ram and installed it into my pc and it's been causing crashes where before there were none. My old ram was:
Kingston 2GB PC3-10600 DDR3-1333MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL9 240-Pin DIMM 1.5V Single Rank x8 Memory Module Mfr P/N K1N7HK-ELC
And the new ram that i got was:
Kingston 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz Non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 240-Pin 1.5V
Even though both ram types are slightly different is it causing compatibility issues? I went to Crucial.com to check if the ram was compatible with my system and it showed the ram with the same config except I bought Kingston ram instead. If there are compatibility issues is there a way to correct it without having to get new ram?
