Should I upgrade or buy a new computer?

Hello experts,
about 4 years ago I bought a prebuilt PC for about $450 and since it's been a long time it simply cannot run modern games. Also I recently pre ordered No Man's Sky. Obviously I don't expect it will run that game because I'd like to have either a new PC or this one upgraded by the time of release. If I'll upgrade the budget would be about $350 for now (I'd probably go for GPU, PSU and add RAM) and later on the CPU. If I buy a new PC I'd invest $550-$650.

But the thing is MB uses LGA 1155 port which is now discontinued and the best CPU both compatible with MB and being actually in stock is Intel Core i5-3570T (3rd gen) for the lowest price of $250 (new one). I live in Czech Republic and I've looked through all the online stores and that is really the best compatible processor I can buy here.

So that's my story and now to the actual setup. I haven't really looked inside, so I don't know the exact details for RAM and storage.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-H61M-D2-B3 - Intel H61 REV: 1.0
Processor: Intel Core i3 2100 3.10 GHz (2nd gen)
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GT 430 1GB
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 1TB HDD

If there's any other information I'm missing please let me know and I'll provide it
And of course: Thank you for your help in advance!

I'd say it's best to buy a new one. You should be able to reuse your HDD.
At this point I have two options for you. Get a new PC with a more powerful processor and upgrade your GPU later (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qYD8hM)
Or get a New PC with a stronger GPU and upgrade your CPU later. (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DkM8hM)
I would recommend getting one with a stronger GPU and then upgrading the CPU later.

Sooner or later you'll want to upgrade again if you upgrade your current build, I would recommend that you build a fresh pc. Keep the HDD ^^
Just save up and go for a complete new build, just let me know how much can you spend and where do you live and I'll do something for you.

I already had a feeling that I'll have to build/buy a new one when I posted this thread. Thank you for your quick response and those build ideas. It really helped me deciding what I want to buy. Maybe I'll save up some more like LionKing12 said.
Just please let me know what do you think about this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LhmqYJ with SilentiumPC Gladius M45W Pure Black case my old HDD and also an old optical drive.
Thanks again.

Thanks for your opinion and offer, but I live in Czech Republic (Central Europe) so I don't think you could help me out :) but I appreciate it.

Thanks, I can wait a bit longer so that will probably be the final decision. It's gonna be my first build ever though so I'm a bit anxious about that. But I can't wait :D
