Would this be a good PC for being future proof and upgradable?

I wanted to build a pc that would be future proof. I plan to buy a high end graphics cards over the summer but for now Intel HD graphics is fine for me since I will be playing just CS:GO for now. The motherboard might seem overkill since the i5 6500 is not overclockable but I also wanted to keep that future proof in case of a CPU upgrade. Just wondering if this was the best I can get for my money while keeping my Pc future proof and without a GPU. Thanks!

Yeah pretty good. Like you said you will want a good gpu in there. If you do plan on upgrading your cpu sometime soon, that board makes sense, and you could maybe upgrade to Kabby lake next year or sometime. You may want a ssd for your OS as this will make things much faster on your desktop and much more responsive.
Looks fine but the power supply is a cheap ultra-low budget unit not so good for a gaming system. You need to spend a bit more and get a better one.

Any of these would be a big step up in quality for reasonable price-

xfx is worse than the evga, pure trash to buy fxf and a nightmare to get warranty work or replacement, xfxf warranty claims always start with fxf customer service: "user broke this or that and voided warranty"

to be honest. there is no such thing as future proofing. as for motherboard and CPU, Skylake is on its way out and will be replaced soon with something newer to keep up with AMD's new Zen architecture that they are going to be releasing. But all in all it's a good build.

Thanks all for the responses I think I will stick with my build and go for an upgrade in the PSU as Archaic59 said. The stock cooler seems fine for now tough since their won't be an upfrade. If it's too loud, then I will get the Evo 212. Thanks once again!
