So the emulators i already have are Project 64 and PCSX2. They both work fine kinda. The only problem i have is with GTA San Andreas on the ps2 emulator. For some reason it lags a wholeee lot to the point where its unplayable. My question is this: Is it the emulator thats the problem or is it the game itself, or is it my PC?...Also, i downloaded a DBZ Budokai 1 rom and it asks me do I want to format my memory or something along those lines. I know when formatting you're deleting what ever is on what you are formatting. My question for this is: If i select the format option will it delete everything off my hdd or will nothing happen at all?

Solution
The PC version of GTA 3, San Andreas, and Vice City are often on sale for like $3. I would just save yourself the headache of trying to get your emulator to work properly and buy the version that is actually designed for PC.

It's your lucky day. The Humble Store is having a Rockstar Games sale this weekend. You will get Steam keys. All the PS2 era GTA games are on sale.

Here is the direct link to San Andreas for $3.74.

Edit: You can get the entire PS2 era trilogy for $5.99.

1) post your system specs

2) Why not get San Andreas for PC so you don't have to run an emulated version?

3) the formatting it is asking you for is only for the little bit allocated for the emulated game system memory, not your entire hard drive.

That said, GTA SA offers really cool lighting and colour filters that really add to the atmosphere on the ps2 - it was by far my favourite version, which is not really a popular opinion.
