Recently i installed a GT 960 SC into my stock PC, upon playing games like Counter-Strike,H1Z1 or Rust. While playing these games my computers peripherals will shutdown but the PC still has LED/fans running or more often then the first it will just do a full restart.

I have done tests but need help determining a fix to the problem.

- It DOES only happen with the 960 not the old 610 GPU.

-Switching fan placement within the PC does prolong *random restarts*

-Lowering in game resolution does prolong *random restarts*

- I am running a Stock CPU heatsink with no heatpipes FRESH Arctic silver thermal paste

PC Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz
GPU: GT 960 SC
Motherboard: MSI 760GM-P34(FX) (MS-7641)
PSU: 500W (Idk the model) but its not a optimal name brand PSU & approx 3-4 years old version
4x 120mm Fans (1 Above CPU, 1 Front, 1 back, 1 side for GPU exhaust)
Currently running a positive air pressure setup.
1x CPU fan

Solution
My first guess would be PSU, it may well be one that advertises 500 watt (which is what it CAN hit at peak), and may well be about a 300-350 continuous which isn't enough
