So I went to go and turn on my power outlet only to hear a loud pop sound, I didn't know what it was so I didn't think much of it until my pc booted up and now the time is seriously wrong. It only pops sometimes and the computer still boots perfectly but I'm worried that something is going to go horribly wrong soon. What do you guy's think? Oh and I should also add that my pc randomly shuts down sometimes.

My PSU is a Corsair AX860i

Try a different outlet. It could be that the outlet is not pulling enough power or is shorting your power cable. And the time thing may just be a correlating bug in software. Or the power difference has caused disruption in the bios

The reason I'm not suggesting it's the PSU is the quality of the unit. It is good quality. Also what are the rest of your components? The PSU might not be able to deliver enough power for it, causing shutdowns, or may be higher temps causing the computer to shut down.
