I recommend recording your game with something else like OBS (Open Broadcast System). It does streaming and it does local recording (records to MP4 with x264 encoding). Anyways, anytime you record something, it will take more processing power to do the compression that the encoder uses.

Sorry, missed your specs :) Are you recording 3 monitor gaming? If this just started, what changed with your system recently? New hardware? Software? Did you update your recording software?

"when i watch the video it stutters"

question...when you "watch" the video, is it 1-before you process the video file, or 2-after the final production is completed.

If it is #1.....most software does not let you review the video at highest resolution until it has been processed, or finalized.

Then, it lead me to #2, process the video, is it still as you stated?
