Trying to boot to an external HDD

Hi guys, I'm trying to boot to a hard drive in one of those hotswap bays and it shows in the BIOS under the miscellaneous list and when booting to my regular hard drive it shows in windows.

But the BIOS won't show it as a bootable device.

Any ideas?

Even using a separate SATA cable it won't list it :(
