neither front or rear jacks are working on my pc

so i got a computer today second hand and neither of the audio jacks work or even read as plugged in when i plug my headphones in but i can hear the headphones getting power when plugged into the rear jack but still nothing

A
Pull the pc apart to see if the front is connected properly to the motherboard. Try another pair of headphones, check for driver updates, check the sound mixer that your changing the correct audio, good luck

already done all of that and i even tried my old cases front panel just incase it was the problem and nothing
tried 3 sets of headphones sound mixer is fine
