Hello, I have recently built a pc and am wanting to push a little extra out of it to gain more fps while gaming, my components are:
CPU: Amd FX-9590
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120V
GPU: Asus Nvidia Turbo GeForce 960
MB: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
RAM: 4 x Kingston HyperX Fury 8Gb DDR3 (32Gb)
PSU: Corsair CX750M
HDD: 2 x Seagate 1Tb 7200 rpm

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

SOLID STATE DRRRRRIVE should be the first thing you get. its not necessarily going to fix problems or improve particular performances but its becoming a must have before u start upgrading other parts.
the hard drive is usually the bottleneck because cpu gpu memory modules are so OP nowadays HDD cant keep up with it and all ur doing is upgrading for zero improvement.
and btw 32gb jesus christ OP lol

fps?
get a 980 or 390

I have been thinking about getting an SSD, would help anything apart from the obvious (faster bootup, faster read/write speeds). I have about £200 to spend on a GPU and I believe both of them are beyond that price, is there any you would suggest in my price range or should I wait??

what game specifically did u want better fps?
and as for the budget i think the best u can get is the 970/380 anything after that is a big jump

Well I play DDO and that runs fine as well as Star Wars the old republic, but I have a platstation emulator that runs at about 30 fps, I'm wondering if overclocking will be easier than upgrading?

yeah next time u post that first cuz u would save me urself and other ppl time.
so anyways im not familiar with emulators but from my stand of point it doesnt matter what ur gfx card looks like cuz ur not playing a pc game the way it is intended. ur playing a playstation game thats up/down scaled to work with a pc platform.
i could wrong but ur better off just playing on a playstation for all i know bro.
keep it simple man. if ur get into gaming and start putting money into it, game on the right platform and with the right hardware/software.
otherwise ur not gonna be able to compare and rule out variables cuz the whole set up is a variable..

and for the most part.. u upgrade ur hardware to keep up with the latest games not the other way around
