As the title says, I want to know if the MSI 980 ti's backplate is removable, and if so, how would I go about removing it? I would like to replace it with a much nicer V1Tech backplate. Any help is appreciated.
well don't know I don't have that card ? I just recalled things like what I linked to you above showing it removed - now how MSI has it mounted screw wise or what all it takes to get it removed ???
sad thing is I cant find anything on that from MSI like you easily can from like EVGA for there cards [go figure ? ]

maybe why MSI don't give any support info on any of that ?? not to say evga is the best but at least they put things up front and easy to see and use ?
there back plate looks simple to install or remove with out disassembly of the whole card to do so ??
can I ask why you want to remove yours ??? sorry
I did look at that vi tech to see there instructions and I seen it was just a cover that goes over the back plate you all ready go now ???
