Asus M5A78L-M LX PLUS compatible with Win XP?

I want to load OS Win XP Pro onto a computer with ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS motherboard. I have the standard motherboard driver disk that came with the motherboard. Is this motherboard "Win XP" compatible with standard drivers? I am using an Athlon II CPU.

Hey, thanks for the answer. Unfortunately I am at a loss as to how to download 30+ drivers onto one CD. I sure would appreciate your help on this.

If I understand you correctly, download the chipset and LAN drivers for Win XP onto a pen or flash USB drive, load WIN XP, then install the chipset and LAN drivers from the flash drive.
