Hey all, as the title suggests I'm in the market for a new system and would like to hear from well anyone willing to help me out. With the amount of research time I've done, I felt this was the best logical step to go.

My budget is $2000-$2500 CDN, I really want to stay away from going over that, along with that I do have some preferences. My main focus for this system, will be mostly gaming, but I will also be doing music editing, video editing, streaming on a regular basis. With that being said I've been eyeing the 5820k with either a 390 or a 980ti for now.

Preferably I would like to stay away from liquid cooling on the grounds I just don't want to risk something rupturing. So if at all possible something with maximum airflow.

But enough of me rambling on, any suggestions or alternative opinions would be extremely helpful at this point.

5820K would be a good pick, might look to pair it with the X99-A from Asus, depending on how much editing you do look to 4x4GB of 2666 or so DRAM (Ripjaws 4 or Trident Z would be good picks), I'd go the 980Ti over a 390 anyday, though you may want to wait and see how the new nVidia Pascal cards look when released
