If it's for gaming, no, not at all.
If it's for editing, rendering, or some other cpu intensive tasks, then yes, it would help.
its mostly for gaming but i heard its hard to OC a non k version of i7 6700
u heard its hard from a tech? or u heard its hard from someone online that has close to no idea how to overclock?
honestly. if u have the bank for the i7 skylake. either go and get the k series or just let it be.
the i7 is pretty damn overpowered
curious what games are u playing or planning to play?
if anything.. u want to get a gfx card between mid-high tier range that for sure would be better than a cpu in terms of i7-i7k
