Hi, I have a GTX750ti from MSi. Yesterday, somebody asked to trade mine with their HD7950 from Saphire Vapor-X 3GB. I wonder which one is better with this system, i play CSGO, Minecraft, Warface, COD and some good games that need a little bit muscle
CPU: i5 4460, 3.2ghz, i haven't OC it to 3.4 yet
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
I have VS550 with 1 6pin and 1 6+2pin. I also wonder and i plug them into HD7950's double 8pin using 6->8pin cable, can it handle the load from this card while it is not OC? I calculated the consumption, it's about 330W in total. Thanks you!Glad to have your supports and answers

it would be a good idea to get a proper psu with the connectors you need, so consider this if you want to go ahead with the swap

Sir, thanks for your reply
Although I searched a lot, i found that the 7950 is the better option than 750ti. Despite the fact that the 750ti-s are quite stable, they can lock at 30fps on Hitman, i don't think that i should ignore this trade tho. The 7950 and the 750ti are super far away in benchmarks, only a few are close such as the one that need higher clock speed but i don't live depend on them. I'll get another PSU that is better and i don't think 7950 is a low range 7000 series, at all. Even the R9 280 is the re-brand of it. LOL, 800MHz, not so big but consider its other specs ,e.g: shader, texture rate, benchmark, i think it's ok to trade :D

Thanks you.
I know that the VS are terrible but i used VS550 with 750ti had no problem. Maybe i should sell it and look for another brand's power supply. As a favor, can you look out for me and see what is the best 550W PSU in $45 budget. Hope to hear your reply
