gpu is not showing display

hi my gpu is 9400 gt 512mb old video card ( will buy R7 260X ) i have check my gpu on another my friend system its working fine but when in attach to my it give black screen nothing else Fan is spinning Auto or Board gpu have check both of them still no display my motherboard is Q43/Q45 Intel Core 2 DUE 37400 2.93 2GB DDR3 160HDD so guys any help the gpu fan spinning when i attach i'm sure its attached correctly According to my friend opnion Pci-slot is glitched

Solution
Primary Display setting in BIOS: Try setting it to Onboard/Card, then save & exit the BIOS.

Now remember to disconnect monitor from the on-board graphics connector to the appropriate connector on the 9400 GT card. You should get display on monitor.

thanks for answering me yes i did on board / card still no display i went to shop keeper he said your power supply problum or motherboard i have attached another gpu ATIX1650 Still no display on that card as well i get display only in intergated chipset
so shoud i get a new motherboard?
