Do you think i5 6600 cpu is overkill for r7 370 graphics card?

Considering i'm mostly playing old mmos that require a good single core performance,i'll switch to intel and was wondering if 6600 is a bit too much?
Seems fine to me since i can always upgrade my graphics card later on but wondering your opinions!

PS: i especially don't want to buy a K cpu since i need a better mobo and cooler for overclock and that's above my budget right now.

I was thinking the same way,how long do you think would it be till i need to upgrade 6600 ? 2-3 years at least ?



yes i might also think of 6500 since i need a new ddr4 ram too now i think about haha : P , price difference is around 80 bucks where i live ( not euro or dollars ofc) and ram is around 110 so will do it that way probably,thank you ^.
