So I'm now really really struggling to come to the very conclusion that which hdd should I prefer as a secondary drive

Surely samsung 850 evo will serve as the primary drive which will have the windows and programs only and all the games which I will be playing most of the time will be on my secondary drive .....I have 3x2tb wd green drive which runs at 5400 RPM but people say that 5400 RPM ain't good for games as they are slow

So should I just buy another sshd for secondary drive for games or just stick with those slow [censored] lame wd green drives and does 5400rpm matter in games

If you are intent on getting a new HDD then I would not go for the hybrid as you already have an SSD, I would probably recommend a WD caviar blue but as I said, I would first of all advise that you stick with the WD green and test how it performs as I reckon they will be fine for just storing your games and data.

Those green drives will be fine for storing all your files and games.

The speed of the drive has little impact on the FPS you will get in games. However, it will affect load times and you may get a few lag spikes.

I personally think you should try the green drives and see if you are unhappy with them. At the moment I have the exact same SSD as you but have a Seagate 7200 RPM as my secondary drive and I am not noticing a problem with any of my games.

That's the very difference as you have 7200rpm and I have 5400rpm

I just don't know why I even bought the green drives as they are good for nothing just a bit cheaper and power efficient and dies quickly then Seagate black drive that's why they have 2 years warranty on wd green drives....if someone else asks to buy green drive plz say no as the company themselves know it wouldn't last more then 2 years
