PC powers off randomly, instantly. No BSOD. Temperatures OK. What could be wrong?

Hi,
my machine randomly cuts off. It happens during gaming, but I only use my PC for gaming, so that might not be relevant (I don't use it for browsing/IM etc, I use tablets).

I cleaned out the fans recently.

Desktop machine. I bought it from Scan, overclocked and tested, about 3 years ago.
i5 3570K - was overclocked slightly via turbo multipler (base freq as stock) with ample cooling, now disabled turbo. 40-60C when gaming - should be fine.
GTX 660Ti SC. 66C, can go up to 78C. Shouldn't be cause for concern though.

Think it's the PSU?

Or motherboard maybe?

Solution
More than likely its the PSU, they generally don't use very good PSU's in prebuilts. Can you borrow another PSU to test in your system.? You'll need a good quality 450 watt or larger PSU for the 660 Ti.

I just ordered another one. 650W Platinum "P2" EVGA Supernova PSU.

I'm really worried because all other reports of problems similar to this were just inconclusive.

I'll try to remember to report back, success or fail.

I really hope it's not the motherboard, because I think changing that invalidates a Windows license...

Thank you for responding though. It's good to have my guess about the PS backed up.

No issues for a week after replacing the PSU.

I don't think the issue was the capacity (650W) but there must have been a defect (3 years old) in the old one.
