Ok so I know there has already been a few posts about this problem but I have been having this problem for a while now and cant seem to get rid of it.

Ok so I recently got my loft/attic redone into a room so i have moved my pc up there. After a few days I have noticed a problem which could be totally unrelated but my PC completely turns off and turns back up saying "Asus anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply".

It started off a few times while I was playing League Of Legends so I assumed the game was the cause as although it isnt to straining of the PC. It could be the problem.

However now even when I am doing normal everyday stuff. If I seem to have a video playing and a few different tabs opened. It turns off and repeats the problem.

I have tired plugging it directly into the wall as it was in a power strip.

I want to disable the anti surge protection in the BIOS but dont want to make things worse if thats not the problem.

I built this Pc around 2 years with the specs:
4GB Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Low Prof

600W Corsair Builder Series CX CP-9

2TB Toshiba DT01ACA200, 3.5" HDD, S

Intel Core i5 4670, S 1150, Haswell

Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE 24x DVD±R

Asus Z87-K, Intel Z87, S 1150, DDR3

2GB MSI GTX 660 GAMING, Twin Frozr

Zalman Z3 Black Mid ATX Tower Case

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I always thought corsair made good solid power supplies

I will try and get a replacement for it in a few days.

Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Thanks Blackbird

Ive checked Scan.co.uk

Where I got my components from and it says its under a 3 year warranty (RTB)

Hopefully they can sort it out without costing me anything but postage

Thanks again Blackbird for your quick and instant help
