Is the r9 390 still good for 1080p?

With the recent release of Quantum Break the r9 390 seemed to be able to play it high-ultra settings at the 45-60 fps range. But, lots can happen in a year. If youre looking to play all of your games at ultra 1080p I'd suggest maybe a 980 ti or a 980. a 390 is a very powerful card as of now and with its large amount of V-RAM it should be a worthy competitor in the upcoming releases. If your strict on a budget The R9 390 should be capable of upcoming games at medium-high settings on triple A titles. If u have the budget I would stretch to a 980 or even a 980 ti.
