As title says :X I've gone through the checklist and did all of the things, I realized I have an incompatible CPU with my mobo and I highly suggest this is the cause, but I read that the system should still be able to boot despite this. Before returning and exchanging my CPU, I was hoping there might be any chance of ANYTHING else other than faulty parts?

Also am I doing this right? ><

I don't know where you read that system should still boot even when CPU is incompatible, totally wrong.

The system won't even POST if the CPU is incompatible, so it definitely won't boot.

First of all thank you for your response, I really appreciate it.

I was just browsing forums and several people said usually it would still boot but display unknown cpu in the bios or something ><

I guess my fans attatched to motherboard not spinning are also symptoms of the incompatability? I've ordered a new cpu today.
