Hi guys, I just had a quick question, just because it has been bothering me.
I started up my PC about a week ago, and mid-boot, (I think it reached the ASUS splash screen,) it shut off.
I have my PC plugged into a powerstrip with other things plugged in if that means anything.
Now, this has happened to me in the past, but only when 1. My CPU pins were bent, and 2. My RAM slots went bad. (On old boards.)
This has only happened once and hasn't happened since then. Although I did go through some headaches of getting BSODs and such when I first got the motherboard, but I think that's because I didn't do a clean install of windows.
The question being, could this be just a random mishap? Because from my understanding if there was actually something wrong, I'm pretty sure it would continue to happen.
My motherboard is an ASUS z77 Sabertooth, CPU is an i5 3570k OC'd and my RAM are Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB.
Thanks in advance for any help/replies.
