Do I need a new PSU?

Hello, I have built a PC around a week ago, I currently have a Corsair CX500 power supply, however I have been told that it is not enough for the other parts that I own. I am also experiencing issues with my GPU which I need to get replaced but that's not important.

My setup is:
-AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM
-Asus 970 PRO GAMING/AURA ATX AM3+ Motherboard
-Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
-Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
-Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
-MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card

Is my Corsair CX500 not good enough for this and if it is not then what new PSU would you recommend around the same price as the CX500, so around £50-70.

Your power supply is not very good quality, but it can do the job for now until you can upgrade to a higher quality model.

Some good upgrade options-

I agree, your PSU while it does have issues when pushed (especially with a GPU) should work, but you should consider a replacement soon. It will wear out and start causing issues sooner than later.

Another vote for "use for now, replace soon". Not exactly a quality PSU, far from it. It does the job in your case, but I don't recommend using it on a long run.

EVGA G2 550W PSU recommended above is a very good option; you also cannot go wrong with XFX 550W or any Seasonic 500W+.
