My current pc isn't very good as I bought on a budget for £300 (about $400). My current graphics just aren't cutting it, and I wanted to upgrade, but I found that I had integrated graphics. is there any way to upgrade from this to a card under £60 ($70-80)?

Some info about my PC:
Processor: AMD A4-6320 @ 4GHz(after turbo boost) with 2 cores
Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-f2a58m-hd2
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 8370D with the core at 1300mhz (after overclock)
RAM: 8GB DDR3

If I can upgrade, how would I go around doing this?

Thanks :)

I would save for a bit mate. £60 GPUs are no better than an integrated GPU. Save up for a bit and get something like a 950 or 280/380/370. Also you want to make sure your PSU is enough to power this.

EDIT: Didn't see you had an 8370D, but still hang on for something like a 970 or 280/380.

Thanks for the reply :D

I would be willing to go over budget if my performance is significantly improved. How much are the cards you mentioned, and how powerful are they? (how much of an upgrade?)

sorry if I haven't replied to this right, I'm new to the site :p

Looks like the 8370D is pretty abysmal, so most dedicated cards will be an improvement. The best bang for the buck would be a GTX 750

However, if you can spare another 15 - 20 pounds a GTX 750 Ti would be an even better choice.

You should note that your PC should have at least a 300w power supply, so check the specs on your PSU before you buy anything.

Thanks for the help. I dont know much about my power supply, apart from the fact that it has a sticker with AC 230 Volts on, so hopefully it should work. I'm looking to play a top games (GTA V, etc) but i really want to get no man's sky on release. Will this card be able to run it? I'm comfortable on overclocking if that is necessary.

Trust me, I would if I could - I don't have the money do build a new one, I just need it to be playable at 30fps+ with low settings.

R7 360 is a better card than the 750ti by a fair bit IF your PSU is good enough - saying that it only draws 20w more than the 750ti generally but does require a power connector.

Pull your case side off & let us know the PSU model number (it has a label on the side) , even better take a photo & post it.

it says the Pemtium model is 500U

Ill send a pic in a minute

EDIT: I think it's a cit black 500w power supply

Robcrezz - I'll apologise for tgat - I've been under the false pretence that the 360 was a reiteration of the old 265!! Which it plainly is not.

Still not a bad card for £80 though really.

Tomkendall - if you go for a 750ti then just go for the cheapest 2gb model you can find mate , paying £99 over the £83 model will not get you an extra £20 worth or performance - there's literally 2-5fps between all the models at best.

So this would do fine?

Just a rebranded 260 mate.

^ robcrezz - can't believe they ditched the265 chipset completely , I know it was only based on the old 7850 but for a single 6 pin gpu it was one of the best.

Tomkendall - that model is fine mate although I'd personally buy from a proper reseller over eBay.
Ignore your PSU, with a 750ti you're not even hitting 200w , it'll not be an issue even on a generic unit.

I have integrated graphics, so how would I install this - just normally and ignore the integrated graphics or would I have to disable the integrated graphics?

Thanks for all your help so far :)
