So I've got an old LS 670 here, and I'm trying to root it. But here's the problem.. It doesn't mount as a usb storage device, so no rooting methods work on it. In control panel, it shows as unspecified. I've tried turning on USB debugging, but still nothing. help?

Do you have the correct drivers for it?

And what type of computer are you doing it on? Windows can be a real pig for what you are trying to achieve, so I'd do it on os x or linux where no drivers are needed.

ADB / Fastboot should work neatly from the CLI :)

I fixed it by installing the usb drivers, everything works fine now. But I've been looking all over google and youtube for a tutorial on how to install a custom rom, and they're all useless. I cant find a custom recovery for this device in particular, (probably because its old) I'm beginning to think there isn't one...

So I got everything working on my own, it was just really difficult to find one for the phone, because of it's age.
