Which is better? Mx518 or G400s?

You got anything against the G402 or G502. The G502 is probably the most suggested mouse i've seen lately. I have the G402 and its pretty nice. Just doesn't have a braided cable.

The G502 is too heavy!??!?!?!
I am fps player, I need light mouse.

G402 has stiff cable, really annoying

You asking me or telling me that the 502 is too heavy? you got alot of question marks there. Also the 502 has removable weights. I use the g600 as my main mouse as I mostly play FFXIV, but when I do use the 402, its not stiff to me. Anyway it,s your choice, but I always recommend Logitech mice. If another brand works for you or looks good just buy it and give it a shot.

The mx518 was probably my favourite mouse of all time , had mine 8 years & was gutted when it finally bit the bullet in 2014.

I highly doubt you could get hold of one nowadays at a reasonable price.

I got mx518 from China for 30$. But it has a nasty whining sound. I have to get a new one. And the g400s has better sensor than mx518.

For $30 from china I highly doubt its a real 518mx mate , Logitech stopped producing them in 2010.

You can fake alot of tech. People try selling fake cpu among other things. all the places i've seen sell that mouse for WAAAAAY more, so it get it that cheap, from China of all places, scream that you'll be sorry if you buy it. Get one of the new logitech mice or one from another company and get comfortable with it.

Just because you dont understand the concept of fake hardware doesn't meant its not a real thing. Look you obviously are dead set on that specific mouse, so buy it. But IF if turns out to be cheap junk, don't post back asking for help, because we warned you.

I never used the older G series mice, but I like my G600 for MMOs and my G402 for other things. I'm sure the G502 is a great mouse, but watch some reviews to see.

I am a low sense player, I lift my mouse a lot. How can I lift a rock like the G502 all the time?!?!?!?

The mouse without the weights in it is about 1/4 pound. IF thats too heavy I I suggest you take a break from gaming and instead of lifting your mouse, lift some weights.

What country are you in ??
Are you left or right handed ??
How big are your hands ?? You've owned an mx518 (or a copy) - assuming it was the correct size could you manage something slightly bigger or weightier? The mx518 I would say is small & light.
What's your budget??
If right handed do you want a uniform shaped mouse (symmetrical for left /right hands) or one shaped solely for a right handed user.

Are you claw handed (grip the life out of it) or use a more relaxed resting grip.

Its incredibly hard to even think of recommending a gaming mouse without all those questions answered.

G402 - for fps players Id consider it a better mouse than the 502 , its also a touch smaller & lighter , it would suit someone who was comfortable with the old 518.
