Similar questions have been asked and answered but I want to get a bit more specific.
I’m looking at upgrading to a GTX 980 Ti, and two 4k monitors for gaming.

I want to run both monitors at 60Hz but I’ve read that this really isn’t possible yet if used like an extended display – So can I rig them up separately somehow so that both are still operating at 60Hsz with only one monitor would display the game and the other displaying other applications?
I’ve never worked with multiple displays or even DisplayPort before with my setups so I’m walking into unfamiliar territory. I read a bit about daisy chaining with DP but their website seems to suggest that the bandwidth isn’t large enough to support more than one 4k monitor. Does that just mean that I would need to run two separate DP cables from the 980 Ti to each monitor? Or would I need a hub?
