Hello guys.
I'm setting up a home recording studio lately and I'm having some trouble finding the right computer. I don't mind if it is a desktop computer or a laptop. My budget is pretty low and it goes to a max of 500€~600$ for the computer. I have an audio interface so I won't need a computer that has a good sound card nor a good graphic card.
I just want a computer that works properly without giving me any issues during recording, mastering and mixing.
Can you please suggest me something that I might look for?
Thank you so much.
Have a great day

I would recommend looking into a used workstation. The old cheese grater mac pros are still very solid machines if you like OSX. For windows, you can pick up a used Dell T5500/T7500, HP Z600/Z800 or Lenovo C20/D20/S20 for a good price. They have good power supplies, CPUs and RAM. They are very easy to expand and upgrade.
